Searching for People
D&B Onboard allows you to verify and screen individuals within the UK using our partner CallCredit’s CallML service. You can enter the name of a director or other associate person within a UK business and verify them against electoral role, SDN & PEP lists, sanctions, bankruptcy, personal CCJs and other directorships.
Onboard also allows you to perform international ID verification checks and tracing in over 135 countries worldwide, via CallCredit’s International Call ID service. Dependent on the country, it can verify an individual’s name, address, date of birth, gender, phone number and a range of ID document numbers.
To search for an individual using either International Call ID or CallML, select People from the main search screen and select the relevant search provider by selecting either CallML or International ID. Enter all known details including required fields marked with an asterisk. You can include in your search results any snapshots that were previously taken on a particular individual. D&B Onboard will notify you if there has been a match to a snapshot based on the search criteria entered. When searching using International ID, select a country from the available list and choose the relevant document type. You can then enter the ID document number in the provided field.

The source of the data is dependent on the country. The sources of our European data are detailed below, with the data source of other countries available on request.

The types include:
- Business: business information
- Consumer 1/2: credit or consumer information
- DMV: Department of Motor Vehicle information (Driver License info)
- VHistoric: Voter Historic
- Resident: legal resident information
For the standard identity check where the service returns a single match code, it will return the best match from all available sources. For the multi-source match, it will use multiple sources including the same type of source but different years of acquisition; i.e., Phone source acquired in 2010 and again in 2012.
