Sources Tab Content
To help you to understand the information contained within a D&B Onboard report, D&B have included a sources tab revealing details of our data sources, the frequency with which our data is updated in the reports and some information about standard filing requirements for the country in which the company is registered.
To view sources of data, click on the Sources tab contained within the report. The sources section of the compliance report is tabulated to separate links to additional business verification sources and D&B data sources. From the Additional Business Verification Sources tab, click on the hyperlinks to verify information via different sources. A new web page will open in a separate window. Included in this section are:
- Primary data sources used in the country in which the entity is located
- Data elements used from these sources
- The frequency with which updates are made
- How this data is received and entered (direct feed, keyed in manually etc.)
- Standard filing requirements in the country of the entity’s location (includes the type of company required to file and those not required to file)
To view D&B data sources for the country in which the target company is registered, click on the D&B Data Sources tab. This section reveals the primary data sources for that country, the data elements obtained from that source, the frequency of updates, and how they are received.
The D&B Data Sources tab also contains information on standard filing requirements for businesses in that particular country, Global Family Trees and ownership, company documents, and regulatory compliance data.
D&B collect data from numerous sources globally. It is possible that other sources not listed may have been used. Data providers are subject to change. For detailed information on our data collection and the DUNSRight™ quality processes please contact your D&B representative.

Sources Tab Structure
The Sources tab within Onboard is split into five separate categories: Primary Data Sources, Data Elements from the Source, Frequency of Updates, How they are Received, and Filing Requirements.
Under each category you will see a numbered list with an entry alongside. The number against each entry links to the corresponding number on all of the other categories on the page.
