Account View Profiles

An Account View Profile is a combination of a filter and profile to help you more easily manage your task or workflow. By setting up an Account View Profile, you specify what segment of data you wish to see and the corresponding data elements in your “Account List.”

Examples of Account View Profiles are:

  • US Aging account view profile which contains just US accounts and data elements related to your Accounts Receivable.
  • Highest A/R Risk account view profile contains accounts with balances over $1M and shows the data elements to help you assess risk on the customer.

There are three types of Account View Profiles:

  • User - restricted to use by one User
  • Group - restricted to use by a Group of Users
  • Global - No restrictions, can be used by all Users

NOTE: Administrators can view and modify all Global & Group Profiles whereas User profiles can only be viewed / modified by the creator.

Creating a New Account View Profile

To create a new Account View Profile:

  1. Navigate to Tools > Account View Profiles
  2. Select “+New”
  3. Enter a new “Account View Profile Name.”
  4. Select the “Profile Type” as “User”, “Group” or “Global.”
  5. Select the appropriate “Filter” to see the appropriate segment of accounts.
  6. Select the appropriate “Profile” to specify which data elements you wish to see.
  7. Click “Save” when complete.

Editing an Account View Profile

To edit an Account View Profile:

  1. Highlight the Account View Profile Name.
  2. Select the Edit icon.
  3. Enter the appropriate edits.
  4. Click “Save” once complete.

Deleting an Account View Profile

To delete an Account View Profile:

  1. Highlight the profile name.
  2. Select the Delete icon
  3. Confirm the transaction.
